Brittney disapeared while playing outside her Sturgis,MI apartment complex. Her brother saw her sitting on the bench outside. Later a man in his 20's or 30's was seen by others speaking with the then 6 year old. She has never been seen since that day:Sept. 16,1997. Brittney told the witness who saw her with the man that she had made a new friend. SCAREY!! EEK!! Her bike was found abandoned. Where it was is not listed.

The Sturgis Police say this case is definitely still a priority even after ten years.

"There were times that me and my husband would be the only ones, it would be raining and cold but we came out here," said Ruth Ann Beers, Brittney's grandmother.
