atempted abduction by a man in a gorilla suit

A mam in a gorilla suit tried to abduct a 5 year old boy named Noah on Aug. 2, 2006. The father ran after a caught the man as his son screamed in terror. The most horrifing part about this story is that police let him go not even asking for his id. This took place in Washington state. I have a question for thease cops. Dose the name Wesley Allan Dodd. In spite of what the abductor said this is not a joke.
For those unfamillar with Dodd he was a child killer who was hung for his crimes after being caught by the dad of kid he grabbed in a movie theater.
The parents of Noah are going to take leagal action against the police department. Go for it. Good luck.

Update: The man did this as a poor atempt as a joke he explained when caught up with. He was fooling around in a gorilla suit as there had once been a real gorilla on display in said store.
