On June 22, 1977, eight year old Renee Freer left her home on Williams Drive in Monroe at 6pm that evening to visit a friend whose house was just up the street. When she didn't return, a relative started to look for her. Not finding her, the relative called the police at 9:15 pm. Her lifeless body was found at 10:12pm that evening about 300 yards from her house near Hattertown Road. More at link
