The sky was full of clouds, darkness was coming, and silence had returned to a rocky ledge the teenagers called SV, or Swampscott View. Soon it would rain -- hard, and all night. On the ledge, buried beneath a pile of leaves, lay Henry Bedard Jr. He was 15, and by 4 p.m. on Dec. 16, 1974, his skull had been crushed. Yards away lay the murder weapon, a baseball bat. His killer or killers were farther away. This was in Swampscott,MA. www.boston.com/news/globe/living/articles/2004/12/16/regarding_henry/
