A man allegedly walked into the fenced yard of the family’s home in the 300 block of West Kildare Street Lancaster,CA just before noon and asked the 4-year-old girl for her name. He then reached down, grabbed her and tried to leave the yard.
But her older brother grabbed the man’s arm and called for help, asking for someone to call 911.
The little girl was not injured.
Neighbors flagged down a passing sheriff’s patrol car and were able to direct them to a man believed to be the one who tried to take the little girl.
