It’s part of a decades-old cold case that investigators hope can now be solved with modern DNA technology. Baby Moses was found in November of 1983 behind the Landings Condominiums on St. Lucie Boulevard. The Medical Examiner confirmed he had drowned, but that’s all investigators ever confirmed. Now they are on a renewed search to find those responsible. “On homicide, on a murder, there is no statute of limitations,” Sheriff William Snyder reminded the media in a press conference Friday morning. Snyder announced the department’s determination to find answers in the 33 year old cold case during the same press conference. Investigators plan to exhume the body Monday morning from the Fernhill Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum but discovered two more unidentified infants buried in the same location. “None of the infants have paperwork identifying who they are or how they got there,” Snyder said. “We’ll be exhuming the remains of the three infants to identify what are the remains of Baby Moses.”
