The sisters disappeared on March 25,1975 after talking to an unknown male outside of a restaurant. There was ranson demand that was actually an extortion atempt. Also, there was a credible sighting of them bound and gagged in the back of a beige Ford ststion wagon. The partial plate was BMT-6**. The rest of the plate could not be seen because it was folded.
